Located about a one-hour drive from the hotel in Kunigami Village, the ""Yambaru Forest Toy Museum"" is an interactive museum where visitors can experience the blessings of Yambaru through play.

The facility underwent a major renovation in March of this year, expanding its area to roughly four times its original size. It is operated by the certified non-profit organization ""Association of Arts and Play Creativity,"" which runs 24 toy museums across Japan.

The museum features a wealth of spaces for play and learning. This includes a ""Play Area"" where children can learn about traditional Okinawan culture, the Yambaru natural environment, and local wildlife while playing with toys. There is also the ""Okinawa Gokko Farm,"" where visitors can enjoy a mock harvesting experience using local Okinawan agricultural produce made of wood by local artisans, such as wooden bitter melons.

From July 18 to September 26, a total of 14 Eisa performances will be held by youth associations from various regions across Okinawa.

Eisa is a traditional performing art that has been passed down through generations by local youth associations during the Obon season.

While these performances are typically reserved for regional Obon festivals and large-scale events, every year we invite youth associations to our hotel to deliver exclusive performances just for our guests. This year, we have expanded the schedule to run until the final Saturday of September.

「オリエンタル琉球麻辣湯」がこの夏、期間限定でスタート。

この夏、期間限定でオープンするレストラン
中国料理・琉球中華 「琉華邦 」にて、
沖縄・やんばるの旬食材と薬膳が織りなす
「オリエンタル琉球麻辣湯」が始まります。

今、第二次ブームと呼ばれるほど大人気の麻辣湯。
当ホテルでは、自分好みに具材を組み立てる
麻辣湯の醍醐味はそのままに、

At RYU-KA-HO, a Ryukyu-Chinese restaurant open for a limited time this summer, Oriental Ryukyu Malatang will debut featuring a blend of seasonal Yambaru ingredients with traditionally nutritional herbs.

Malatang is currently so popular it is undergoing a second boom. Our hotel maintains the best part of Malatang—customizing ingredients to your preference—while serving it hot pot style.

We offer two types of soup. The ""Mala Soup,"" with its aromatic spices and numbing Sichuan peppercorn kick, is made using Yambaru chicken and oxtail. The other option, ""Paitan Soup,"" is a rich, white broth concentrated over two full days using chicken bones and dried scallops.
