Early Spring Afternoon Tea: Featuring Okinawan Strawberries
Available starting today at the Lobby Lounge!

Did you know that strawberries are cultivated right here in Okinawa? Ginoza Village, located right next to Nago City where our hotel resides, is Okinawa’s premier strawberry destination. Ginoza Strawberries are renowned for their rich flavor—a perfect harmony of sweetness and refreshing acidity.

Starting January 15, our Lobby Lounge presents the ""Koikaze (Love Breeze) Afternoon Tea,"" featuring an array of desserts and savories crafted with an abundance of these local strawberries. The sweets incorporate smooth milk chocolate and a touch of bitter chocolate for a sophisticated finish. カンヒザクラの花見やタンカン狩りで
沖縄の「旬」を楽しむ旅を。

沖縄は、日本で最も早くサクラが咲く場所。
濃いピンク色の花びらをもつ「カンヒザクラ」は
例年1月下旬～2月上旬に見頃を迎えます。

桜の名所はとして知られる名護城公園は
当ホテルから車で約25分。
1月31日、2月1日には「名護桜まつり」が
開催され、さまざまなイベントも開催されます。
本島北部エリアには他にも
今帰仁村今帰仁城跡、本部町八重岳桜の森公園など
桜の名所が点在しているので
巡ってみるのもおすすめです。

もう一つ、今の時期に旬を迎えるのがタンカン。
濃厚な甘さとみずみずしい果肉が人気の
柑橘「タンカン」は、
名護をはじめとしたやんばるエリアは
沖縄の一大産地です。

なかでも「みかんの里」とも呼ばれる
本部町伊豆味（いずみ）地区では、
冬になると「タンカン狩り」が楽しめます。

また、この時期には
道の駅や近隣のスーパーなどにも
採れたてのタンカンが並びますので

Experience the best of Okinawa’s seasonal charms with Kanhizakura cherry blossom viewing and Tankan citrus picking.

Okinawa is the first place in Japan to see cherry blossoms each year. The Kanhizakura variety, known for its vibrant deep pink petals, typically reaches full bloom from late January to early February.

Nago Central Park, a famous spot for these blossoms, is just a 25-minute drive from our hotel. On January 31st and February 1st, the Nago Cherry Blossom Festival will take place, featuring a variety of exciting events. The northern part of the main island is dotted with other fantastic viewing spots, such as the Nakijin Castle Ruins in Nakijin Village and Mt. Yae Cherry Blossom Park in Motobu, so we highly recommend a scenic tour of the area.

Another seasonal highlight right now is the Tankan. Known for its intense sweetness and juicy pulp, this popular citrus fruit is a specialty of the Yambaru area, including Nago.

The Izumi district in Motobu is often called the ""Citrus Village,"" and during the winter months, you can enjoy the experience of picking your own Tankan straight from the trees. You will also find freshly harvested Tankan at local roadside stations and nearby supermarkets, so be sure to give them a try.

当ホテルは2022年に沖縄で初めてバレルサウナを導入し
さらに世界“最熱”と言われている
高機能性MORZH（モルジュ）製のテントサウナも完備。
サウナはプールサイドに設置しているので、
サウナに入室し体を温め、熱くなった体を
目の前のプールでクールダウン。

Enjoy a realxing sauna trip surrounded by the lush greenery of Yambaru.

We have introduced a new accommodation plan that includes use of the barrel and tent saunas.

Our hotel was the first in Okinawa to install a barrel sauna in 2022 as well as a highly functional MORZH tent sauna said to be the hottest in the world. The saunas are located poolside, so you can warm up in the sauna and then cool down in the pool right in front of you.

These books have been carefully selected by Hanauta Shobo, an independent bookstore in Nakijin Village. 今週末は、やちむんの里へ。
北窯陶器市が開催！
@kitagama_baiten

沖縄の伝統的な焼き物「やちむん」。
当ホテルから車で約40分。読谷の「やちむんの里」は
数多くのやちむん工房が集まる一大産地です。
なかでも「北窯」は、松田米司、與那原正守、
松田共司、宮城正享の4名の陶芸家が
共同で作り上げた県内最大規模の登り窯。

その北窯が主催する陶器市が、
12月13日（土）、14日（日）の2日間、
9時～18時、場所は北窯広場で開催されます！

通常より安い価格で購入できるとあって、
毎年大人気。
お気に入りを見つけるなら、
なるべく早めの来場がおすすめです。
涼しく、過ごしやすくなった沖縄で
沖縄の伝統工芸に触れてみてはいかがでしょう？

Head to Yachimun Vilage this weekend to enjoy the Kitagama Pottery Market (@kitagama_baiten)

Yachimun is Okinawa's traditional pottery and the Yachimun Village is located about a 40-minute drive from our hotel. Kitagama is the prefecture's largest climbing kiln originally built by four potters: Matsuda Yoneji, Yonahara Masamori, Matsuda Kyoji, and Miyagi Masayuki.

The market will be held at Kitagma Square from 9:00 to 18:00 on December 13 and 14.

With many bargains, the opportunity to find a favorite piece is high, so we recommend arriving early since it is a popular event. Experiencing traditional Okinawan crafts will be more comfortable in the cooler weather!
