由布院の原風景のひとつである棚田が宿の中心に広がっている界 由布院。そんな界 由布院では、冬限定で、お米にちなんだおつまみと大分の地酒を堪能しながら、ライトアップされた幻想的な棚田を眺める「冬灯りやつがい」を開催しています。
大分県の工芸品「中津和傘」を用いた照明を100本設置し、棚田の段々が光で彩られる幻想的な景色をご覧いただけます。

KAI Yufuin, where terraced rice fields—one of Yufuin's original landscapes—spread out around the inn's center. At KAI Yufuin, a winter-only event invites guests to savor rice-inspired snacks and local Oita sake while gazing upon the fantastically illuminated terraced fields.
One hundred lights crafted from Oita's traditional Nakatsu Japanese paper umbrellas are installed, creating a magical scene where the terraced fields are illuminated and illuminated.
