当イベントの目玉は、カットしたピーチパインの振る舞い！
生産地だからこそ味わえる、完熟のピーチパイン。ほんのりとした桃の香りとみずみずしい甘さが特徴です。

また、「ピーチパインSHOW」では農家さんが鎌を使ってその場で捌いたり、パインの特徴や歴史をスタッフと掛け合いながら紹介します。
さらにイベント内のスタンプラリーでは、ピーチパインの“オーナー”になれるチャンスも。

西表島の春の味覚を、食べて・知って・楽しめるイベントです。

The highlight of the event is the complimentary freshly-cut Peach Pineapples! Since they are grown locally, you can enjoy them at their peak ripeness. These pineapples are known for their signature peach-like aroma and refreshing sweetness.

At the "Peach Pineapple SHOW," local farmers will showcase their skills by slicing pineapples on the spot with traditional sickles, while staff provide fun insights into the fruit’s history and characteristics. Additionally, by joining the Stamp Rally, you’ll even have a chance to become a Peach Pineapple "Owner."

今回は、西表島ホテルが提案するマングローブ林の楽しみ方をご紹介します！！

マングローブとは、沖縄をはじめとした暖かい地域の「川と海がまざる場所」に生える木々のこと🌳。
日本には7種類のマングローブが生育していますが、その7種類すべてが自生しているのは西表島だけ！
潮の満ち引きに合わせて水につかったり、根元が顔を出したりする独特の環境は、魚やカニ、貝、鳥たちの大切なすみかになっています🪿🦀。
